Riding my Thumb to Mexico
One good thing about my old apartment in downtown was that I could see the moon and stars at night. Sometimes, I miss sitting at the balcony drinking couple beers and staring at the night sky. It's already ~4 ish years now. But I still remember every emotions that I have had.

Probably my go to drive music during 2024. Remind me all the trips that I took. I think I was actually playing this while I was driving from North Iowa during the blizzard and had a most wild drift due to ice while I was turning. Man that was scary. Also was playing this on the way to Chicago for st patties, first big drive in my old ford. Also the colorado trip along with whole bunch of nebraska trips. Multiple Minnesota trips for judo. Always the song for the drive.

Such an old and well known song, but it always takes me to adventure. Warm summers eve and on the train. What a life. After Dolly Parton passed, I was going thru his stuff too. Losing stars one by one.
Cigarettes After Sex - Second hand smoking
Back when I worked at a car factory for temp jobs, For a night shift, my lad and I used to smoke couple packs along with coffees to stay awake. The magic combo helped us to stay awake, but it also made us feel terrible the day after. Cas is just like that for me. It brings me back to late 2023 - early 2024, when someone introduced me to them by exposing me to K.? At first the songs feels awesome, the best time of my life. Feels good to remember all the butterflies and the flowers. Then the after effects.

I didn't notice because I love the vibe and tone of the song, but I did not know the lyrics are super explicit. At least the ones that I checked out. I wish they make songs other than just sex.
AMA - Artic Monkeys Addiction
First time exposure was around sophomore year of high school. Random late night texts and talking to someone about bands, she mentioned that she really likes them. Back then I didn't like them. I guess I grew and my taste changed. Ofc I am a bandwagon, but I really enjoyed the entirity of AM. good solid album. I wonder if the frights were influenced by them. setting definitely sounds familiar. Their songs brings me back to good old days when I used to be in band with couple lads back in high school for some reason.

Ok I am addicted to their sounds now. I'm about 13 years too late, but I am in.
Oasis Tour
I loved Oasis since long time ago. Yet, they were still broken up when I was making good money working as an engineer, they decided to tour - both times - when I am making graduate student salary. Lord does give the toughest battles.
